A Crushable Place to Visit

The more I allow myself a little creative permission with my painting, the more creative inspiration my soul needs.  I know it sounds a bit melodramatic, but it’s true.  I told you once that every time I see something beautiful, my heart stirs a bit and I really just want to go get a paint brush in my hand and paint the thing I just saw.  I can’t explain it better than that.  All this to say, there is a tumblr I click over to whenever I am searching for fresh new inspiration.  It is probably my favorite site on the web (even more so than Pinterest, gasp, I know!).  In fact, my Pinterest boards are often just repins of this site.  While I was clicking away yesterday it occurred to me that I should share it with you.  It is called Crush Cul de Sac, and it is a divine collection of fantastic images.  Tons of images of every sort of topic and category.  All beautiful, all inspiring.  I have never left her tumblr without seeing something I wish I could paint.  It’s a fun place for me to click to when I have a minute, and I thought you would enjoy it as well.  Go and visit without any expectation of subject matter, you will find a little bit of everything.  Here are a few of my favorites, but I have hundreds more I wish I could also attach:
